- From 22 to 24 November 2023, the Fondo Leoncavallo will be hosting a colloquium entitled Monographic archives of
fin-de-siècle composers: Present and Perspectives. The event brings together music archivists from around the world
responsible for the estates of prominent composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The focus will be on the curatorial challenges
of developing and preserving an artistic heritage, and on its potential for both scholarly and cultural purposes. In addition to two keynote
speeches and the thematic papers of the institutions, the conference will primarily serve as a forum for professional exchange. A public CD
presentation and a chamber music soiree will round off the meeting.
The event is open to all interested parties and free of charge,
registration is not required.
